Navistar International Truck
Navistar International Corp. is the parent company of International Truck and Engine Corp, that produces
"International" brand commercial trucks. These trucks are sold in the United States, Canada, Brazil, Mexico and in other 90 countries
throughout the world. The company also provides financing for its customers and distributors through its wholly
owned subsidiary, Navistar Financial Corp.
HEAVY: 9000 Series, ProStar, TranStar
9000 Series and ProStar:These trucks are built for maximum reliability. The aerodynamic shape
increases fuel efficiency by up to 2%-5%. The set back front axle gives excellent maneuverability, and the capacity to
haul longer trailers and bigger payloads. These trucks can be used for Liquid or Dry Bulk, Owner Operator, Long Haul, and regional Haul.
TranStar:These trucks are perfect for low-mileage tractor applications like short regional haul and urban delivery
operations. Comes with standard cab air suspension.
MEDIUM: CityStarDuraStar
CityStar: These trucks are perfect for Landscaping, Pick up and Delivery and Waste Collection
DuraStar: These trucks are perfect for Construction, Landscaping, Utility, Waste Collection, Pick up and Delivery,
Transporting Bevarages, as a city Tractor, tow truck. It has a high torque engine (4400 - DT 466) for big loads and steep hills.
SEVERE: PayStar, WorkStar
These trucks are used in Construction and Waste Collection. These trucks are built to go in the gravel pit, the landfill, the construction site. It built with
up to 560 hp of big-bore power on a superior strength frame-rail system. With dual power-steering gears (16,000-lb and up axles), full air suspension cab, and
up to a full 50 degree wheel cut, this truck can make short work of tight spots.

International Truck and Engine has launched the MaxxForce brand name for their line of Diesel engines. All
current engines will be branded as "MaxxForce" followed by a number corresponding to the engine's displacement, rounded up.
So the 4.5 L VT275 becomes the "MaxxForce 5". Ford will continue to use the Power Stroke brand name on their International engines.
